Fundraising....What we can do to help you?

We offer you a free social fundraising webpage where you can raise money and awareness for causes that you’re passionate about through the sale of customized apparel. You get your own Fundraising page link where your supporters make purchases, and we handle all of the details. At the end of your fundraiser, we ship the shirts, hats or whatever to your supporters and send the funds that were raised to you or your designated charity or other organization. 

How does Fundraising work?

Black Bear T-Shirts will create an online fundraising page built around sales of custom designed t-shirts or other apparel. Our platform is 100% free to use, and if your page generates funds, we pass those funds along to your chosen beneficiary at the end of your fundraiser.

Here's how it works:

We create a custom design on the item of your choice. We can add more color options or complimentary styles if needed.

We will help you figure out pricing to help reach your goals. 

Write a few words about the cause or event you're raising money for, along with a photo if you have one.

We'll generate a custom fundraising page with all of this information, along with images of your custom item. Share the link to your page with your friends and supporters via email, social media, and any other ways you can think of to spread the word.

Supporters purchase items directly from the page. Black Bear T-Shirts handles payment processing, delivery, customer service, and any other details.

When the fundraiser is over, we ship the items and send the funds raised to the designated person, group, school, organization, or charity.

How and when will the funds be sent?

The amount of time it takes to receive your funds depends on the payment method you select. We can send funds via cashiers check. Digital transfer options may also be available. The timeframe is usually 7-10 days after the close of your fundraiser.

Should I claim funds raised from a Custom Ink Fundraiser on my taxes?

Since we’re t-shirt experts and not tax experts, we recommend reaching out to your attorney or tax advisor with specific questions.

What are some good ways to promote my fundraiser?

Here are a few tips that have worked for our organizers:

Facebook and Instagram are very powerful promotional tools. By telling your story and sharing your fundraising link on social media you can exponentially get more visibility for your cause.

Another idea would be to create a dedicated Facebook page or group for the cause. We have seen that people like to follow a specific cause they care about and giving them a forum to follow you and share with others is a great way to keep them informed as well as be part of the solution.

Share your Fundraiser's progress with your community! Write messages on social media, photos and even video.

How long should I run my fundraiser?

Most successful fundraisers run anywhere from 2-4 weeks. This will allow enough time to promote your page and give your supporters enough time to support the Fundraising page, but will be short enough to get the shirts out quickly to your supporters.

Please keep in mind that shirts are usually delivered approximately 7-10 working days after a page closes, so if you have a tight deadline, or an event date you'd like to have the shirts in time for, you'll need to leave enough time between the end of your Fundraising page and your event date. 

I'm not an artist, I need help with a design!

You don’t need to be a professional to have an awesome design! We have graphic artists on staff to help you with your design at no additional charge.

How much money will I make for my fundraiser?

Base price of your shirt depends on several things. How many colors will be in your design? How many different placements will be on the shirts? What type of shirt will you be using? Basic cotton tshirts, a softstyle or triblend? All this things can contribute to your base price, once we determine that, we can determine what the best price point is to sell your product, and at that point, we will know your per shirt profit.

What about shipping?

Black Bear T-Shirts can ship to all US territories. If the event organizer is picking up all the shirts to be distributed on your own, there is obviously no shipping charges.

For individually shipped orders, there is a flat $6.00 shipping fee per item for domestic orders. 

Unfortunately, at this time we do not ship international.

How do I edit my order?

If you would like to change your size or update your shipping address, please email us at fundraising@blackbeartshirts.com and include your order number along with your change information.

While a Fundraiser is still running, we can make that change, guaranteed! If the page is already closed, printing may have already started, so we’re happy to check for you and provide some options.

Is my payment secure?

Yes! Black Bear T-Shirts is committed to ensuring payments are secure, complying with strict PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standards. All payments will run thru Square and will show up Black Bear T-Shirts on your statement.

I got my shirt, but there's an issue?

Please contact fundraising@blackbeartshirts.com at 865-266-0992 with any issues with your delivered order. We are more than happy to investigate and provide a possible replacement within 30 days of your delivery date.

Does Black Bear T-Shirts charge sales tax?

Applicable state and local tax will be applied to your order at check out.
